Triple injury boost for Boro
14 Sep 2007 - 11:55:32
Middlesbrough boss Gareth Southgate has received a triple injury boost in the build-up to Saturday's trip to West Ham United.
Defensive pair Chris Riggott (back) and Andrew Davies (concussion) have both resumed full training, while Southgate is hopeful that goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer will be available for the Upton Park clash.
The experienced keeper picked up a knee injury while on international duty with Australia last weekend but is expected to start against the Hammers.
"He hasn't been in for training just yet, he's only just got back but he feels he will be okay for the game," Southgate told the club's official website.
"We will have to assess him but he's hoping to play and we don't think it will be a problem.
"Outside of our long-term injuries we look like we're at full strength. Chris Riggott and Andrew Davies are back in full training."
