Trio set for debuts

Ipswich manager Roy Keane could hand debuts to Carlos Edwards, Grant Leadbitter and Liam Rosenior against Middlesbrough. Winger Edwards and midfielder Grant Leadbitter were both signed from Keane's former club Sunderland on transfer deadline day for a combined fee in the region of £4million, while Rosenior arrived on loan from Reading. Rosenior will start at right-back, with Leadbitter expected to partner another Sunderland recruit Jack Colback in midfield. Edwards, however, has been away from the club since signing on international duty with Trinidad & Tobago and a late decision will be made on his availability. Keane remains without a trio of players who are recovering from knee injuries. Luciano Civelli hopes to be back before Christmas and David Norris is out until January, but left-back Thatcher could be back within several weeks.
