Newcastle's derby clash with Tyne-Tees rivals Middlesbrough has been moved for live television coverage. The Championship game, which was due to take place at St James' Park on Saturday, December 19, will now be played at 1pm the following day and be shown on BBC1. Boro's last visit to Tyneside on May 11 provided the Magpies with their final victory - and the only one temporary manager Alan Shearer achieved during his eight-match spell at the helm - as their 16-year stay in the Premier League drew to a close. Newcastle are in second place in the Championship with Boro one place and three points behind them.
