The joy of Cesc: Fabregas nails new Arsenal role with a little help from Arshavin

Cesc Fabregas says the way he has hit it off with Andrey Arshavin is behind his success in a new free role with Arsenal.[LNB]The link-up play between the Spain midfielder and Russia star Arshavin helped their side outgun Middlesbrough at the Emirates on Sunday.[LNB]And Fabregas says he is growing into his new role playing just behind the striker in Arsene Wenger's team.[LNB] Partners in crime: Arshavin (left) and Fabregas terrorise Middlesbrough[LNB]'I am playing there all the time now,' the 21-year-old told London's Evening Standard. 'It's a new position for me and I am getting used to it.[LNB]'The manager just gives me freedom. Especially with Andrey Arshavin. We move around each other really well. Sometimes I go out on the left, he moves in, sometimes Samir Nasri moves up and I come down to get the ball.[LNB]'The movement is really good and I think the talking we have between each other is really important as well.'[LNB]Fabregas has missed much of the season with knee and hamstring injuries and was taken off at the Emirates as a precaution following a twinge in his knee. [LNB]However, he expects to be fit to face Manchester United in the Champions League semi-final, first leg at Old Trafford on Wednesday.[LNB]'For the last two games, I feel a bit better.
