Teessiders snap up strike duo

Middlesbrough boss Gordon Strachan beat Monday's transfer deadline to sign two new strikers in Scott McDonald and Lee Miller.
Strachan sanctioned the £7million sale of England Under-21 winger Adam Johnson to Manchester City before moving swiftly to sign the attacking pair on permanent transfers.
Boro are believed to have paid £3million to sign Australia striker McDonald from Celtic.
His arrival is the fourth from Strachan's former club this month following the previous captures of Barry Robson, Willo Flood and Chris Killen, Stephen McManus.
McDonald scored 50 goals in 88 league games for the Scottish Premier League giants.
Meanwhile, Scotland striker Miller joined from Aberdeen on the same day that the also Teessiders snapped up Tottenham full-back Kyle Naughton on a season-long loan.
