MIDDLESBROUGH hand a debut to on-loan Mickael Tavares for their trip to Queens Park Rangers today.[LNB] The Hamburg midfielder is expected to play at right-back, with Matthew Bates swapping to the left flank. Gary O'Neil returns to the first team, Julio Arca drops to the bench.[LNB] Kris Boyd and Barry Robson have both recovered from knocks sustained on international duty for Scotland.[LNB] League leaders QPR are unchanged from the team that pulled off a last-minute 2-2 draw last time out at Derby County.[LNB] Manager Neil Warnock and forward Adel Taarabt scooped the manager and the player of the month awards respectively. Boro supporters will be hoping that the supposed curse that usually besets recipients of those awards will strike once more today.[LNB] QPR: Kenny; Orr, Hill, Gorkss, Connolly; Derry, Faurlin, Ephraim, Mackie; Taarabt, Helguson. Subs: Cerny (gk), Leigertwood, Buzsaky, Agyemang, Smith, Ramage, Parker.[LNB] Middlesbrough: Steele; Bates, McManus, Wheater, Tavares; Bailey, Robson, O'Neil, Kink; Boyd, McDonald. Subs: Coyne (gk), Hoyte, Lita, Miller, Halliday, Arca, Smallwood.[LNB]
