Sunderland release season ticket prices for next season
SUNDERLAND have revealed their season ticket prices for next season, and supporters purchasing before April 9 will benefit from a discount that will reduce prices to 2007-08 levels.[LNB] Seats for Under-16s will be available from only £49, a price that works out at less than £3 a game.[LNB] Adult seats will be priced from £380, and reduced prices are also available for Over-65s and Under-22s, starting at £265.[LNB] Supporters will be able to take advantage of the special prices from March 9, and the deadline to renew existing seats or purchase a new seat at the special prices will be 3pm on Saturday, April 3. The prices will be reviewed at the end of the current season and subject to increase. Existing season card holders are also reminded that their current seat will not be held after the April 3 deadline.[LNB] Anyone who renews or buys a new season card before April 3 can also take advantage of an interest-free direct debit scheme that allows them to spread the cost of their seat over an eight-month period.[LNB] Sunderland chairman Niall Quinn said: "Home form is vital in ensuring the success of our football club and this season weve had the backing of almost 30,000 season card holders which is something that has given me a huge sense of pride.[LNB] "Our attendances are already among some of the highest in the top-flight, but it's my goal to see this stadium full to the rafters for every game.[LNB] "I believe we've achieved a good balance with our prices between keeping football affordable and bringing in the revenue we need to help us continue to progress and improve on and off the field, and I hope this will encourage even more fans to join us for the 2010-11 season.[LNB] "We've continued our ethos of welcoming families and young supporters with a realistic pricing structure.
