Sunderland chief Quinn yearns for a steady relationship with Steve Bruce

Sunderland chairman Niall Quinn has vowed to end the club's yo-yo years under new boss Steve Bruce. The former Wigan manager will move in to the Stadium of Light hot seat this week, with the priority to bring in new signings, and eke out the under-achievers who were almost relegated last season. And Quinn, who will work closely with Bruce to establish a stronger relationship between the board and the management team, believes their partnership will be the key to Sunderland's future. 'It would be great if Sunderland fans could get used to Premier League fixtures coming out and them always seeing their team among the leading clubs again,' said Quinn.
