Strachan seals triple transfer swoop

MIDDLESBROUGH have confirmed the signings of Celtic trio Barry Robson, Willo Flood and Chris Killen.[LNB] After failing to land Celtic centre-half Gary Caldwell, Gordon Strachan has pushed ahead with his squad rebuilding programme by recruiting three players whom he knows from his spell in charge of the the Bhoys.[LNB] Scotland international Robson, who also boasts Champions League experience, moves to the Riverside for an undisclosed fee, while Flood and Killen both join on free transfers.[LNB] Midfielder Robson has signed a two-and-a-half year contract through to June 2012 with an option for a further year, Flood's contract runs until June 2011 and Killen's until June 2010.[LNB] All three players, who previously played for Strachan at Celtic passed medicals earlier this week and have already begun training with their new team-mates.[LNB]
