Strachan keen to make amends

Boss Gordon Strachan insists there will be no room for sentiment when Middlesbrough face former team-mate Gary Speed's Sheffield United side on Sunday. Strachan played alongside Speed at Leeds in the early 1990's but will be looking for Boro to pick up their first league win of the season at the Riverside Stadium. "It's a hugely important game for both teams," Strachan told the club's official website. "We feel we let a lot of people down in the first game of the season and we have to make it up to everybody. "There are things we must add to our game and I'm sure we'll do that when we get used to one another."
