Strachan delighted with comeback

Gordon Strachan admitted "the football gods were kind to us" after his Middlesbrough side grabbed a dramatic victory against Burnley in the npower Championship. Substitute Tarmo Kink scored a stunning free-kick three minutes into stoppage time to secure a 2-1 victory for Boro. Boro looked to be heading for defeat in front of a disappointing crowd of 15,033 at the Riverside Stadium after Andre Bikey put Burnley in front. But Kink hit a 79th-minute equaliser with his first touch and the Estonia midfielder then produced a dramatic twist when he struck deep into stoppage time. Strachan said: "There was an energy about us. Sometimes you can think too much about a game when really you just need to play from the heart. We did that and that was the difference. "We played well, we had an energy and we created a lot of chances. The football gods were kind to us. We deserved it. Kris Boyd was going to take the free-kick but I shouted to give Tarmo a go. I don't know if I fancied him before the kick but I sure did after he took it."
