Stoke star Tuncay set to take ex-club Boro to court over unpaid fees

Tuncay is taking former club Middlesbrough to court to try to win a £500,000 settlement. [LNB]Unpaid: Tuncay joined Stoke in the summer [LNB]The Stoke City striker claims Boro, his employers between 2007 and 2009, still owe him a total of £544,677 in unpaid image, sporting and economic rights. [LNB]It is claimed Boro agreed to pay him a total of £3,544,677 for those rights when he first joined them, but have so far paid £3m. [LNB]Tuncay's relationship with his old club is further soured by a second High Court lawsuit against Middlesbrough in which his agent is claiming £400,000 plus interest in unpaid fees. [LNB]It is alleged that Mikel Eiguren Arano has only received £800,000 of an agreed £1.2m package for his services in handling Tuncay's free transfer from Fenerbahce in the summer of 2007.
