Stoke have completed the signing of Robert Huth from Middlesbrough. The 25-year-old defender finalised personal terms after undergoing a medical on Wednesday, and he could be followed to the Britannia Stadium by Boro striker Tuncay Sanli. The Turkish striker was in talks with the Potteries club's hierarchy on Wednesday, with Stoke expected to pay around £11million for the pair. Stoke announced the deal for Huth to be worth £5million, which could rise to £6million due to conditions involved in the deal. Stoke's current transfer record is the £5.5million they paid to Reading for Dave Kitson. Huth, who is hoping to win a place in Germany's World Cup squad, told stokecityfc.com: "I am grateful to Stoke for the opportunity to play in the Premier League so soon again. "It was really a no-brainer to come here once I found out that this club wanted to sign me."
