Southgate ponders Mido role

Middlesbrough manager Gareth Southgate has urged striker Mido to continue his superb recent form in a bid to claim a regular starting spot at the Riverside.
The 25-year-old Egypt international has found the net in all three games for Boro this season, although only his goal against Yeovil Town came from a starting role.
Southgate told The Gazette after the 5-1 Carling Cup rout of the Glovers: "Mido gave me a headache in terms of selection, but that's what I expect from all the players.
"He scored an excellent goal against Yeovil and showed that he is pushing very hard. When he is fully fit he is going to be a real threat for us.
"He had a physical presence against Yeovil and he showed that he gives us great options.
"I have said to him that I want him to continue to be part of this football club.
"He wants to play football, but he knows that no club can guarantee him that and all he can do is work like he did last night and then he has played his part."
