Middlesbrough boss Gareth Southgate has called for more consistency from his side after they halted a run of three successive defeats with Saturday's 2-1 victory over Everton.
Before Yakubu and Mark Viduka scored the goals which upset the Toffees, mis-firing Boro had not won a game since they shocked Chelsea 2-1 back in August.
And after a run of poor results, the pressure was mounting on rookie boss Southgate to stop the rot.
"It gives us a huge boost," he said referring to the Everton game.
"That is the level I expect. We have taken six points here against Chelsea and Everton, points away at Arsenal and Bolton, all of whom are top six.
"We know we can do it and it is for all of us now to get together and make sure we do it on a more consistent basis."
