Southgate looking to bounce back

Middlesbrough boss Gareth Southgate is backing his side to hit the goal trail once again as they attempt to bounce back from their humiliation by West Brom. Boro, who scored only 28 times during the last ill-fated Premier League campaign, had managed 14 in their first seven Championship games before Saturday's shock 5-0 home defeat. Southgate said: "We are focusing more on how we break teams down and our attacking play, and having more of a set pattern in terms of we know what we should be doing when we have got the ball as a team. "Everybody knows their roles and responsibilities. "Obviously, we have dropped a league and it means that you face different questions, and we have got some players who at this level can be as good as there is in the division in their individual position. "But everybody knows their role, everybody knows how we are trying to play and when we keep our game simple, we look an effective team."
