Middlesbrough manager Gareth Southgate has tipped Chris Riggott and Emanuel Pogatetz to replace the departed Robert Huth. Huth completed a £6m move to Stoke on Thursday but Southgate believes Riggott and Pogatetz, who are currently on the sidelines with ankle and knee injuries respectively, are two of the best players outside the Premier League. He told the club's official website: "We've got Chris and Emanuel who are top quality centre-halves who we hope will be ready after the next international break or within a couple of weeks of that. "We could have real strength in that position by the end of September. "We have got two lads who will be as good as anyone in this division."
