Southgate calls for ruthless streak

Middlesbrough manager Gareth Southgate insisted his side must improve despite their convincing 3-0 win over Swansea. Boro cruised to victory at the Liberty Stadium after Adam Johnson's first-half goal was added to by strikers Marvin Emnes and Tuncay after the break to seal their first away win in nine months. Southgate said: "It feels sweet to win away but the manner of the win was pleasing." He added: "We are a young and vibrant team in a league which is wide open. It's only one win but we have to be more ruthless and take our chances. It appeared easy but we weren't comfortable until the third goal."
