Middlesbrough manager Gareth Southgate believes Leroy Lita`s goalscoring pedigree at Championship level will give them every chance of making an immediate return to the top flight. Lita, who was released by Reading this summer, has netted 61 goals in 192 league games and has linked up with Boro after penning a three-year deal. Southgate told the club's official website: "Leroy has a hunger to score goals and his goalscoring record in the Championship in particular is very strong. "His record says he gets one in two at this level so that will be important for us. He has a point to prove and when he's fully fit he will relish the challenge."
