Smalley ruled out of Boro clash
Oldham striker Deane Smalley will not feature in Wednesday's friendly with Middlesbrough as he continues to battle with a groin injury.
The 20-year-old forward sustained the problem in the goalless stalemate with Bury 10 days ago and has been unable to train since.
He missed Saturday's game with Sunderland and has been undergoing intensive treatment with a view to being fit for the Latics' final warm-up game with Blackpool on Saturday.
