Scunthorpe United v Middlesbrough - team news

18 August 2009 19:16
GARETH SOUTHGATE has named an unchanged Middlesbrough team for tonight's Championship fixture at Scunthorpe United. That means Dutchman Marvin Emnes has shrugged off a knock sustained in the 3-0 win at Swansea on Saturday to partner Leroy Lita up front again. There is also no Jeremie Aliadiere again, who is not expected back in training until the end of the week with hamstring trouble. Scunthorpe, who beat Derby 3-2 at the weekend, field Thornaby-born defender Rob Jones in their line-up. SCUNTHORPE UNITED (4-4-2): Murphy; Byrne, Jones, Spence, Williams; Sparrow, OConnor, McCann, Woolford; Hooper, Hayes. Subs: Lillis, Togwell, Thompson, Forte, Wright, Canavan, Morris. MIDDLESBROUGH (4-4-2): Coyne; McMahon, Huth, Wheater, Grounds; Yeates, ONeil, Williams, Johnson; Lita, Emnes. Subs: Hoyte, Taylor, Tuncay, Arca, Franks, Hines, Steele.
