Emmanuel Pogatetz is prepared to remain at Middlesbrough and lead their promotion push next season.[LNB] Boro slipped out of the Premier League last season and will start the 2009/10 campaign looking to bounce back into the top flight at the first time of asking.[LNB]Reports have suggested that their slide into the Championship will result in a mass exodus from the Riverside Stadium this summer, with the likes of Tuncay Sanli, Jeremie Aliadiere and Afonso Alves all expected to be sold.[LNB]However, club captain Pogatetz has vowed to remain loyal to the North East outfit, providing their stay in the Championship lasts no more than one season.[LNB]"I'm fully focused on playing another season for Boro," the Austria international said in The Sun.[LNB]"I am going to try to help them go back up, and hope to stay at the club longer if they manage it.[LNB]"I'll only leave now if something very good comes up. I feel a sense of duty to the club.[LNB]"But I can't imagine playing in the Championship for a long time. If it's just for one year then I am ready to help them."[LNB]
