Middlesbrough skipper Gary O`Neil still believes the club can clinch promotion this season despite a disappointing start. Boro are sitting in 20th place in the Championship after winning just one of their first five games and next welcome Burnley to the Riverside Stadium. O`Neil told the club`s official website: "I firmly believe that, with hard work, we have more than enough in our squad to compete at the top of this league. "We all know we have to take a look in the mirror and demand more of ourselves in the games ahead, starting with the Burnley match. The players, manager and coaching staff are full of belief that we can win promotion. "As a squad we are more than capable of doing very well in this division but we all know that we need to start proving that. "A good win over Burnley would make us all feel a lot better about ourselves and could be the platform we need to kick-start our season. It's up to us to make it happen."
