O'Neil misses Middlesbrough game through injury

GARY O'Neil's hernia injury will keep him out of this afternoon's Championship match between Middlesbrough and Doncaster. O'Neil, who has put off a hernia operation in order to contribute to Boro's start to the season, does not even make the bench at the Riverside Stadium. Julio Arca takes his place in the starting line-up, with the Argentinian's promoion representing the only change to the side that won at Scunthorpe on Tuesday. Marvin Emnes continues to partner Leroy Lita in attack, with Tuesday's match-winner, Adam Johnson, lining up on the left of midfield. MIDDLESBROUGH (4-4-2): Coyne, McMahon, Huth, Wheater, Grounds, Yeates, Williams, Arca, Johnson, Lita, Emnes. Subs: Steele, Hoyte, Taylor, Aliadiere, Tuncay, Hines, Bennett.
