Mowbray wants more of the same

Middlesbrough boss Tony Mowbray has called for more of the same despite seeing his side once again surrender a lead at the death.

Boro came within seconds of beating npower Championship promotion hopefuls Nottingham Forest at the Riverside Stadium when Dele Adebola snatched a point with a fluke last-gasp strike. The draw left the Teessiders in 20th place in the table and just six points clear of the drop zone, but Mowbray is confident they will ease themselves clear of trouble if they continue to perform as they did for much of the game.

He told the club's official website, www.mfc.co.uk: "We have to keep finding that sort of level if we can. While they are all disappointed, they know they did okay.

"We are still looking over our shoulders, but it's really about performance levels this year.

"As long as we can win three or four more games, it's about performance levels and getting closer to where I want us to be next season."
