Mowbray looking to tame Tigers

Middlesbrough boss Tony Mowbray has challenged his players to end their relegation fears for good by denting Hull's hopes of sneaking into the play-offs.

Boro head for the KC Stadium sitting 10 points clear of the drop zone with just four games to go to and Mowbray is looking to scupper the eighth-placed Tigers' promotion hopes.

"They are just outside the bunch at the top and pushing for those play-off spots, and they might think if they can win their last four games they have half a chance of sneaking in on one of those places," Mowbray told the club's official website.

"They have had a great run away from home but at home, they have lost one or two. It will be an interesting game.

"We will go there and be positive and try to make it a good day for our fans and get three points.

"We have got to make sure we get our job done and pick up some points as quickly as we can, starting at the weekend."
