Major League Soccer legend Jaime Moreno is heading back to former club Middlesbrough. The 37-year-old Bolivian striker is to play in the Gary Parkinson Benefit Match at the Riverside Stadium on Sunday May 15. Moreno, who made 35 appearances for Boro in two spells under Bryan Robson, became a star in America with Washington's DC United and was the first man to claim 100 goals and 100 assists. Former team-mate Curtis Fleming told the club's official website: "It is a fantastic gesture that Jaime is coming across to take part in the match in support of Parky. "He is looking forward to seeing everyone again and is naturally excited that he will play at the Riverside for the first time in 13 years." The match is being staged to raise funds for former Boro player Parkinson, who suffered a stroke last year which left him with Locked-in Syndrome, a condition which means he can only communicate through blinking his eyes.
