An awful error from Brighton goalkeeper Casper Ankergren enabled Middlesbrough to boost their promotion prospects with a narrow victory at the Riverside Stadium. The Seagulls arrived on Teesside having won their last three league games to move within touching distance of the npower Championship play-offs.
