Albert Adomah back in Boro frame after Aitor Karanka spat
Albert Adomah could return to the Middlesbrough squad for Saturday's Sky Bet Championship clash with MK Dons after resolving his differences with head coach Aitor Karanka.
The 27-year-old midfielder has not played since the 1-0 home defeat by Bristol City on August 22 after a bust-up with the Spaniard, but is back in training after clear-the-air talks and is available for selection once again.
Uruguayan winger Carlos de Pena could be involved for the first time following his move from Nacional at the end of the transfer window and he could be joined by fellow new arrivals goalkeeper Michael Agazzi and defender Fernando Amorebieta, who has returned to the Riverside Stadium for a second loan spell.
Karanka has no fresh injury problems with long-term absentees Rhys Williams, Damian Abella and Alex Baptiste working their way back towards fitness.
MK Dons have been dealt an injury blow with the news that Darren Potter will be out for up to six weeks with a knee problem.
Potter jarred his knee in training last week, leaving the Milton Keynes club without arguably their best player ahead of a daunting schedule for the Championship newcomers which begins with the trip to the Riverside.
In Potter's absence, on-loan West Ham youngster Diego Poyet, son of former Chelsea and Tottenham midfielder Gus, is likely to get an extended run in the team.
Dons boss Karl Robinson, whose side also face Burnley, Leeds and Derby in the league this month, is also without the injured Ben Reeves (hamstring), Joe Walsh (knee), Mark Randall, Dale Jennings (knee) and Cody Cropper (knee).
