Jutkiewicz blow for Boro

Middlesbrough boss Tony Mowbray will be without striker Lukas Jutkiewicz for the npower Championship clash with Millwall.

The 23-year-old suffered minor ankle ligament damage in the 4-1 defeat at Crystal Palace at the weekend and is likely to be out of action for at least two weeks.

Defender Stuart Parnaby tore a hamstring in the same game and is facing up to six weeks on the sidelines, while midfielder Kieron Dyer, who sat out the 0-0 draw at Burnley on Tuesday evening, has a tight hamstring.

He will be assessed ahead of the Lions' visit to the Riverside Stadium, as will defenders Jonathan Woodgate (calf) and Seb Hines (knee), midfielder Andy Halliday and striker Ishmael Miller (both ankle).

Fellow frontman Scott McDonald is hoping to return after his back problem settled down, but full-back Justin Hoyte (hip) and midfielder Julio Arca (toe surgery) are still out.

Millwall are hoping skipper Danny Shittu will have recovered from injury and illness in time to travel north.

The veteran centre-half missed last Saturday's FA Cup fifth-round win at Luton due to an ankle problem and then sat out the midweek 5-1 drubbing by Peterborough with flu.

A defensive reshuffle is on the cards whether Shittu is fit or not as left-back Shane Lowry was sent off against Posh and starts a three-match ban.

Right-back Adam Smith's place could also be in doubt after he was hauled off at half-time.

Winger Chris Taylor is close to returning after a knee ligament injury but defender Paul Robinson (groin) and on-loan Derby striker Nathan Tyson (ankle) remain on the sidelines.
