Duo missing for Boro

Middlesbrough boss Tony Mowbray will be without two of his key men for Tuesday night's Sky Bet Championship clash with Huddersfield.

Central defender Jonathan Woodgate came off at half-time in Saturday's 2-0 defeat at leaders QPR with a calf problem and will not make the game at the Riverside Stadium.

Neither will striker Marvin Emnes, who has missed the last two games with a groin strain.

Frontman Emmanuel Ledesma will sit out once again as he completes a three-match ban following his sending-off at Nottingham Forest, but central defender Rhys Williams is available after serving his one-game suspension.

Meanwhile, defender Seb Hines has now returned to full training after undergoing knee surgery during the summer.

Huddersfield manager Mark Robins could name an unchanged starting line-up.

Robins made nine changes for last Friday night's home draw with Blackpool following their midweek Capital One Cup defeat at Hull and has no new injury or suspension problems.

Teenage midfielder Duane Holmes made his first league appearance off the substitutes' bench against Blackpool and set up James Vaughan for the equaliser, so the 18-year-old is hoping to retain his place in the squad.

Defender Joel Lynch and winger Danny Ward are hoping to return to contention following respective knee and ankle injuries as Town bid to extend their unbeaten league run to five matches.
