Middlesbrough striker King charged with nightclub assault
Middlesbrough [LNB]striker Marlon King was charged today with attacking a woman in a nightclub. [LNB]The 28-year-old, who is on loan from Wigan, will appear before magistrates later this month. [LNB]King (right) is alleged to have sexually assaulted and punched a 20-year old woman in a London nightclub in December.[LNB]King was arrested on December 10 after an incident at the Soho Revue Bar in Brewer Street, central London, on December 7. [LNB]A woman received hospital treatment for a broken nose and split lip. [LNB]King was bailed by police to return to a station today, when he was charged. He was released on bail to appear at City of Westminster magistrates court on February 25 on charges of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and sexual assault by touching, the Met said. [LNB]King was on loan at Hull City at the time of the alleged incident.
