McDonald brace rescues Boro
Scott McDonald netted twice as Middlesbrough came from behind to earn a 2-2 draw with FC Union Berlin in Germany.
Chinedu Ede and Karin Menyamnia had put Berlin into a two-goal lead but McDonald struck twice in the final three minutes of the first half to maintain Boro`s unbeaten pre-season record.
Boro begin their npower Championship season with a clash with Ipswich at the Riverside Stadium next Saturday.
