Lions arrange Sadlier benefit

Millwall are to host Middlesbrough at The Den in a pre-season friendly and benefit match for former striker Richard Sadlier. Ex-Republic of Ireland international Sadlier was forced to retire through injury aged just 24, but will return to The Den for the game against Boro on Saturday August 1. "It's been almost six years now since I retired so I'm delighted we have finally made this happen," said Sadlier. "I can't wait for the chance to play once again at The Den and have the opportunity to finally show my appreciation to everyone connected with Millwall and say a final farewell."
