Jones not giving up
Middlesbrough goalkeeper Brad Jones is refusing to accept that the club are relegated yet.
The Australia international feels Boro have a chance of beating the drop, even though the odds are seriously stacked against them.
Boro face West Ham on the last day of the season needing to take all three points, and also require Hull City and Newcastle to be defeated. They must also secure a five-goal swing against the Tigers' superior goal difference.
Despite the unlikely scenario, Jones is refusing to give up hope.
"We have to look at it that we are not out of it yet, so we have got to go into it and try to be positive, really go for it and hope things go our way," declared Jones.
"Obviously, it's going to be difficult and we are going to be relying on maybe Manchester United's second string, but things can happen.
"For the moment, we haven't given up and we have got to go into next week and do another job.
"It's going to be a miracle, but maybe that point might just get us something.
"It's going to be difficult, but we have got to go into it and believe we can still do it."
