Jones blow for Boro
Middlesbrough goalkeeper Brad Jones will miss the start of the season with an ankle injury.
The Australian sustained the problem during training last week so summer signing Danny Coyne is poised to start in Friday`s Championship opener at home to Sheffield United.
Manager Gareth Southgate told the club`s official website: "We think Brad will be out for about three weeks.
"The great thing is Danny is experienced and a good talker and we have Jason Steele coming back from England U19s."
