Johnson flattered by Real talk

Adam Johnson has revealed his surprise at being linked with Real Madrid during the January transfer window.[LNB] The Middlesbrough winger was consistently mentioned alongside the Spanish giants in the New Year, with Real boss Juande Ramos known to be an admirer of his talents.[LNB]No approach was actually lodged by the Primera Liga outfit, but that did little to stem the tide of speculation.[LNB]Johnson refuses to read too much into stories suggesting he could now be plying his trade at Santiago Bernabeu, but is delighted to know that he is so highly thought of by such an illustrious club.[LNB]"I was flattered to be linked with Real Madrid," he said.[LNB]Galactico"I've been getting a lot of stick from the lads about it.
