Injuries give Mowbray cause for concern

Middlesbrough boss Tony Mowbray has a series of injury concerns ahead of Tuesday's npower Championship trip to Scunthorpe. Central defender Stephen McManus is being assessed after damaging an ankle in Saturday's 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace, while midfielder Barry Robson is rated at only 50-50 as he has a tight thigh muscle. Gary O'Neil remains a doubt for the clash with a groin injury, while keeper Danny Coyne is also struggling with a calf muscle tear. Julio Arca made a surprise return from a knee problem at the weekend and Mowbray is keeping his fingers crossed that the Argentinian suffered no reaction. Jonathan Franks (herniated disc), Willo Flood (knee), Rhys Williams (pelvis) and Matt Kilgallon (back) remain on the sidelines.
