I won't quit: Angry Boro chairman Gibson refutes claims he will sell up

Middlesbrough chairman Steve Gibson has angrily denied claims he wants to quit and sell the club. Boro were relegated on the last day of the season but struggled from the turn of the year, winning just twice in 19 games under manager Gareth Southgate. Gibson has told Southgate his job is safe, but the Teesside club is expecting massive changes among its players over the summer, with Tuncay Sanli, Robert Huth and Afonso Alves first out of the exit doors. Cup success, Boro chairman Steve Gibson is confident Gareth Southgate's relegated side will bounce back to the Premier League But Gibson has also vowed to fight on and has dismissed claims thatthe club is so badly in debt it is on the verge of going into administration.
