Huth happy to make return

Fit-again Middlesbrough centre-back Robert Huth is hoping to help his side move clear of relegation trouble, having finally overcome long-standing ankle problems. The 23-year-old Germany international made his first appearance of the season in the 1-1 draw at Reading last weekend and is hoping to build on that 20-minute outing. He told the Evening Gazette: "Now that I am back I want to play as often as possible and help the team climb the league. "It has been a long and frustrating time since I last played and I'm very glad to be back. "But I have a long way to go for full fitness. I would love to say it felt like I had never been away, but of course it doesn't. "The form of the team is a bit better, with three draws in the last four games. Perhaps we are getting there, but we won't do it without winning games. "To beat teams we will have to take our chances and defend well. If a bit of luck comes our way, we have to make it count."
