Hines desperate for first-team return

Middlesbrough defender Seb Hines is desperate to make a first-team return after fighting his way back from injury. The 22-year-old got 90 minutes under his belt for the first time since September last year as the reserves defeated Scunthorpe 2-0 earlier this week. Now Hines, who was on the bench for last Saturday's 0-0 npower Championship draw at Leicester, is hoping to taste league action against Sheffield United on Sunday. He told the club's official website: "I played against Ipswich when we won 3-1 and it's just been a case of injury after injury. "I did my medial [ligament] just before the turn of the year and came back after six weeks out and played a reserve game and managed to dislocate my ankle, so it was good to play 90 minutes. "It's my first one since September, so it was good to get through it."
