Hines back for Boro

Middlesbrough defender Seb Hines is winning his battle to be fit for the npower Championship clash with Leicester. The 22-year-old missed the 2-1 victory over Watford at the Riverside Stadium with an ankle injury but is hopeful of returning as Boro look to ease themselves further clear of the drop zone. Midfielder Willo Flood, who suffered a fractured kneecap in the opening game of the season, played 59 minutes for the reserves in midweek after shaking off a thigh strain he sustained earlier in his comeback and he hopes to play again this season. Jonathan Franks (ankle) and Kevin Thomson (hairline leg fracture) are both back in light training, while Matthew Bates (torn hamstring) is expected to join them next week. However, Leroy Lita and Justin Hoyte (both hamstring), Jason Steele (torn side muscle) and Luke Williams (ankle ligaments) remain on the sidelines.
