Middlesbrough defender Jonathan Grounds has a loan spell at Norwich to thank for his education as a footballer.
The 21-year-old has been ever-present in Boro's Coca-Cola Championship campaign to date after playing 16 times for the Canaries in the same division last season.
He was unable to prevent Norwich from slipping into League One but learnt valuable lessons during his time in Norfolk.
Grounds said: "I had a good run last year at Norwich and that's given me the confidence to play for Middlesbrough at the top of the league.
"I really enjoyed my time down there and being away from home helped me mature a little bit and I came back more of a man."
