Middlesbrough chairman Steve Gibson has dismissed rumours suggesting that he could sell up at the Riverside following the club's relegation from the Premier League.
Gibson is determined to try and help Boro return to the top-flight at the first time of asking and has no intention of leaving the Teessiders.
He told the Daily Mail: "We hate the Championship. We don't want to be in it. We're a Premier League club.
"We're determined to get back to the Premier League as quickly as possible and I firmly believe that when we get back we'll be a force.
"There's never been any risk whatsoever that this club would go into administration. The finances of the club are very good and the club isn't for sale.
"The club's debts have been widely reported, but those debts have been reduced by two thirds and were we to go back into the Premier League next season, we would have less debt than most clubs."
