Fulham in Downing's sights

Stewart Downing insists that if Middlesbrough beat Fulham this weekend then they will escape from relegation.[LNB] The England winger feels that Boro will have to follow up their win over Hull City with victory over Fulham, if they are to maintain their top-flight status.[LNB]Downing, standing in as captain whilst Emanuel Pogatetz is injured, is looking to lead his side to victory at The Riverside.[LNB] "I seriously think if we can win on Saturday we're in with a great chance," he said.[LNB]"Fulham haven't been too great away from home and won't fancy coming here, especially after our result on Saturday. We've got to punish them.[LNB]"We've been in this situation a long time and a lot of people have written us off so it's us against the world, but we're up for it. [LNB]"It's going to be tough. Fulham will be a hard game. I think if we win on Saturday we've got a good chance."[LNB]
