Fry quashes Mackail-Smith exit talk

Peterborough director of football Barry Fry has cooled speculation regarding striker Craig Mackail-Smith moving to Middlesbrough. Fry has been flooded with enquiries about Mackail-Smith and strike-partner George Boyd, following a weekend of speculation. But he played down reports linking Middlesbrough with Mackail-Smith and Tottenham with Boyd. "I have had no contact from Harry Redknapp about Boyd or Gordon Strachan about Mackail-Smith so there is nothing in those reports," said Fry.
