Folan blow for Boro

Middlesbrough striker Caleb Folan has suffered an injury blow after tearing a hamstring during a training session.

The extent of the injury is currently unknown but he will definitely miss Tuesday's Coca-Cola Championship clash with Leicester City at the Riverside.

He recently moved to Teesside on a three-month loan deal from Premier League outfit Hull City.

Speaking of the injury, manager Gareth Southgate said: "We don't know the length of time he'll be out for yet but it looks like quite a serious one.

"That's a big disappointment for him, first and foremost, having just got here, and also for us. We've brought him here for a reason and it's frustrating not to be able to play him."
