Middlesbrough captain Emanuel Pogatetz has hailed the club's support for the reception they handed to winger Stewart Downing against Sunderland on Saturday. Want-away Downing was cheered loudly prior to the game and Pogatetz believes the response was a factor in the England man's passionate display.
