Everton v MIDDLESBROUGH: Southgate to leave it late over Shawky

06 March 2009 16:05
Middlesbrough boss Gareth Southgate has few new injury problems ahead of Sunday's FA Cup quarter-final trip to Everton.   Midfielder Mohamed Shawky will have a late fitness test on a knee injury he picked up in training, while striker Marlon King is cup-tied.   But Southgate has a more or less full squad from which to chose with only long-term absentees Didier Digard (knee and thigh) and Chris Riggott (knee) out of contention. Team (from): Jones, Turnbull, Hoyte, McMahon, Pogatetz, Taylor, Huth, Wheater, O'Neil, Bates, Walker, Arca, Downing, Johnson, Shawky, Emnes, Alves, Tuncay, Aliadiere.
