Emnes completes ban

Middlesbrough striker Marvin Emnes will complete his three-match ban as his team-mates attempt to secure their npower Championship status at Burnley.

The Dutchman missed last Tuesday night's trip to Ipswich and Saturday's home draw with Barnsley after being charged with violent conduct on video evidence following the win at Sheffield United. Manager Tony Mowbray was boosted at the weekend by the returns of Kevin Thomson and Willo Flood after lengthy absences, and neither have suffered any ill-effects, while Barry Robson too was able to play after recovering from his hamstring injury.

Jason Steele was due to resume training after sitting out since the beginning of last month with a torn side muscle but Seb Hines (broken jaw), Merouane Zemmama, Leroy Lita and Justin Hoyte (all hamstring) and Nicky Bailey, Jonathan Franks and Luke Williams (all ankle) are still out.
